A Thoughtful Gift

For a while I have been wanting to get a Playstation or Xbox but due to other bills and things coming up I hadn’t been able to save up. My brother recently got a Xbox one and I was able to use it while he was at work. There was a Sherlock Holmes game that I was wanting to get to play on his console but it was never on special and I didn’t want to pay $80 for it. It looked really fun but not worth that much as it is the type of game that wouldn’t take long to finish. I would still keep checking whenever I was in town though just incase it did come on sale.

A few days ago my brother called me saying that the game I wanted was on special through his Xbox live subscription. For one week it was going to be $20 and he said that he would pick up a gift card and buy it for me. I was so excited to be able to play it and so thankful that he thought of me.

When he got home he came into my room and said he had something in the car for me. I followed him out to the car thinking it was the gift card but also slightly confused as it would have been easy to bring inside without me having to go out to the car as well. I got out to the car to see a Xbox One sitting on the passengers seat. At first I was a bit shocked and then really really excited when I realised that he had actually got me a Xbox and another game which we both could play together on.

We got the subscription so I could get the Sherlock Holmes game at the discounted price. I have been feeling so grateful for everything and never expected anything like this to happen. The Sherlock Holmes game has been really fun but it wasn’t worth the $80. I finished the whole game in about two days but I can still play it again which is good. I will write a full review about it in another post.

I have been really enjoying my new Xbox and if your reading this brother thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Love, Me
