I was right in thinking that this week was going to be busy. The painters have finished and the ceilings are looking really good. There is just the clean up job now. There is dust everywhere and everything needs a good wipe down. We had moved lots of things out of the rooms being painted and it’s been a good opportunity to sort through different stuff as we put them back. So far we have completely finished two rooms with another one almost done.
I have been trying to help where I can and taking lots of breaks to sit down and rest. I already feel it catching up on me though and due to not sleeping much the other night I know I’m going to need to rest more. The week has gone past quickly and I can’t believe it’s Friday already.
I have been less organized with my blog lately so that is something I’m going to work on next week. I want to have a plan of different post ideas and topics. So if you have any ideas of things you would like me to write about I’d love to hear them.

I would like to see a post where you talk about some of the mistakes we can avoid in such a job. Some things which you feel might have helped had you done them differently.

Uhg, home reno is always a pain in the rear bumper. We did a major reno to the house we sold back in Michigan. No more of that! Hope you get some rest. 🙂
